‘Bringing Up Bates’ Travis Clark Slammed For Insensitive Comment

Katie Bates was previously called out for something she said
As we previously reported, Katie was slammed online for a comment she made about her sister, Carlin Bates. You may know that Carlin is currently experiencing health issues, including seizure-like episodes.
When Katie visited her sister recently, she imitated what Carlin looks like when she’s having a seizure. Bringing Up Bates fans took issue with this and called her out. They thought it was disrespectful and insensitive of Katie. Many called her immature as well.
Now, her husband, Travis is being called out for a similar situation.
Bringing Up Bates fans slam Travis Clark over his insensitive comment
In a new post on the Duggar Bates Confessions Instagram page, a fan mentioned a scene in one of Travis and Katie’s recent videos. In the video, the couple is hanging out with Travis’ family. He notes that his brother starts acting “crazy” when his blood sugar is low.
He went on to tease his brother and also lifted his brother’s shirt without asking first. Then, Travis posted this to his YouTube channel. At this time, the video has been viewed over 215,000 times.
The fan wrote, “I don’t understand how Travis thinks it’s ok to mock his brother’s type 1 diabetes, lift up his shirt without permission to show on camera.” The fan claimed that Travis has “no understanding of his brother’s medical condition.”
Then, the Bringing Up Bates fan pointed out some of the other troubling things Travis said in the video. It’s safe to say that this scene was not well-received by fans.
In the comments section of the confession post, fans are adding to the conversation, and many agree with the original poster. One user said, “Travis and Katie are very naive and somewhat immature.”
Another chimed in, “But the diabetes hits close to home for me. So I’m not ok with someone making fun of it.”

My fiancé has diabetes there’s times you have to joke around about it just to relieve some of the pressure!! Insulin-dependent and takes shots all day long. People need to lighten up! leave these poor kids alone!
