‘Bringing Up Bates’ Katie Bates Reveals Pregnancy Complications
Bringing Up Bates star Katie Bates Clark, unfortunately, is having pregnancy complications. Just a few weeks ago, she and her husband, Travis Clark revealed they’re expecting their first baby. So, what’s going on? Keep reading to get all of the details.
The couple got married in December 2021 and moved to New Jersey. Now, they are adding a new member to their family. In an Instagram post, they announced Katie’s pregnancy and revealed the baby is due in 2023. A new pregnancy update this week revealed that her due date is likely in early March, though she has not confirmed this.
Now, Katie is opening up to Bringing Up Bates fans about her pregnancy complications.

In a new YouTube video on Saturday, viewers got to go along with Travis and Katie to a doctor’s appointment. Also, Katie and Travis revealed to fans that she has blood clotting disorders like some of her sisters. She had tests done and the tests revealed she has “some of them.” She’s relieved that she doesn’t have all of the disorders.
The Bringing Up Bates star has been in communication with a doctor in Tennessee, where her family lives, as well as one in New Jersey, where she lives.
When they got back home, Travis gave Katie her shots, as you can see below. She needs two per day and has been doing them for a few weeks now.
They said that Katie’s sister, Michaela, who’s a nurse, has been helping them over the phone.
At the end of the video, Travis told fans that they will be seeing a high-risk doctor soon to get more answers.
Bringing Up Bates fans keep the Clarks in their thoughts and prayers.
In the comments section of Katie and Travis’ new video, fans are leaving encouraging comments and saying that they will pray for them and the baby. Fans hope that the pregnancy will go smoothly and that everything will be okay.
