‘My 600-Lb Life’ Update: Where Is Justin McSwain In 2022?
Fans met Justin McSwain on TLC’s My 600-Lb Life Season 7. Narrating a tale of hardship and food addiction, the TLC show has brought along several individuals struggling with weight loss over the years. Weighing close to 700 pounds, he made his way to Houston from his life in South Carolina. Even though he struggled to fit into a rental car on his way over to Dr. Now’s office, his determination helped him push through.

But, even with determination, adopting a healthier lifestyle just wasn’t as easy for Justin. Luckily now, it seems like he is leading an active lifestyle and has undergone a dramatic weight loss. Within a year of adjusting his diet & undergoing gastric bypass surgery, the TLC star lost 334 pounds. BY 2019, he even started taking flight lessons to earn his pilot’s license.

Justin has been very vocal on social media about his weight loss achievements. He also thanks Dr. Now for his exceptional transformation. As per reports, the 32-year-old has lost more than 450 lbs and his weight loss saga continues to date as he pushes through to keep himself fit. During his appearance on My 600-Lb Life: Where Are They Now? he said, “therapy helped me realize that I was someone who deserved a chance at life.”
My 600-Lb Life’s Justin McSwain Loves To Explore The Outdoors
From quitting his job due to health reasons to completing the milestone of a 5K hike, Justin has come a long way. The South Carolina resident loves to explore the outdoors and recently shared glimpses from his trip to the Congaree National Park.
The series of pictures and clips he shared on Instagram included a selfie in the woods. He captioned the post, “Took the bike out for a solo adventure and absolutely loved it! This clip was just a small part of the trip and doesn’t do it justice.”

“The joy of the ride and the peace of nature are an amazing combination, can’t wait to go again. Years after getting my health & life back under control and I still get to discover and enjoy new things every day!” he concluded.
Fans took to the comments section as one wrote, “It’s a joy to see you thriving honey.”
“I watched your update yesterday. It was so inspiring! I just did a bit of biking to start up my exercise again. Thank you!” wrote another.
