Below Deck Med: Storm Smith Regrets Becoming Bosun? [Bravo | YouTube]

Below Deck Med Season 7 crew member Storm Smith might have regrets about becoming a bosun. He was promoted to the new role after Captain Sandy Yawn fired Raygan Tyler. As fans already know, she was caught taking too many smoke breaks during the start of the charter season. Raygan also didn’t have the leadership role down.

In fact, she felt overwhelmed by being on a superyacht. Raygan explained that she used to work on smaller boats, which had more of a relaxed work style. She thought working on the yachting industry would be as easy. However, it’s far from casual and carefree. Soon enough, she was replaced by Storm, who’s already proven himself this season.

In the Monday, August 22 episode of Below Deck Mediterranean, Storm is feeling “nervous” about docking the yacht after a previous incident.

Storm Smith’s first time docking at night

The last few minutes of last week’s Below Deck Med showed the superyacht hitting a dolphin once again. Storm struggled to hear Captain Sandy on the radio. She was trying to get directions from him, but his radio didn’t work. It was full of static. Before he knew it, the yacht hit a nearby dolphin.

He might have regrets about becoming the new bosun. He was “definitely nervous” after the yacht hit the dolphin earlier that day. Storm didn’t want to end up in the same place as Raygan. Captain Sandy had several conversations with her before letting her go.

In the sneak peek for the upcoming episode of Below Deck Med, another issue happens at night. Captain Sandy cusses as she claims that she “can’t see s***” while docking. he asks Storm to come to the bridge. He admits in his confessional that he was “nervous” about his first time docking at night after the last incident.

Storm appears flustered as he gives his crew members directions. Captain Sandy closely watches the exterior team and tells Jason Gaskell that she can’t see him. It seems like a complete disaster for the deck team. Storm exclaims that it’s the “second time” since he’s done something like this. It’s an intense situation for the new bosun.

A familiar face returns to Below Deck Med

This comes after Courtney Veale returned to Below Deck Mediterranean in last week’s episode. She first appeared on Season 6 of the Bravo series when she worked for the interior team. Courtney is now working for the deck team. She loves working with the yachts rather than cleaning them.

However, she wasn’t happy when she had to help out with dinner. Courtney was hoping that she would stay on the exterior side. It’s not how she expected her first night to turn out. It appears there are a lot of disappointing firsts happening this season.
