In case you missed the news, Amber Johnston recently revealed that Emma and Alex are both in their junior years of high school. We previously reported that they went back to school earlier this month.
Because Emma attends a public high school, fans may wonder how being on TV affects her. Her family has been on TLC for 12 seasons now.
So, by now, there is a chance that her classmates have seen her family on TLC. Even if they don’t watch 7 Little Johnstons, they might know about it.
Do her classmates know about 7 Little Johnstons?
This week, ahead of the 7 Little Johnstons Season 12 premiere, Emma encouraged her followers to ask questions on Instagram. She addressed a variety of topics, from her favorite episode of the new season to whether she has her driver’s license.
However, she did clarify that she had to be cautious. She said, “I’m answering the questions as best I can without spoiling the episodes.”
One fan asked what school is like and wondered if her classmates know about her family’s show. Because this question doesn’t have anything to do with what’s coming up in the new season, she was able to answer this one.
Emma responded and said, “Some people at school know but not a lot know. I just keep it to myself and be like a normal student.”
So, it sounds like her family having a TV show doesn’t affect her much at all. Fans may be happy to hear that Emma isn’t treated any differently because of 7 Little Johnstons. Though it’s a popular show on TLC, not everyone watches reality TV shows.
