Teen Mom Alum Talks About A Scary Incident With Daughter
Jennifer was a part of MTV’s spin-off series 16 And Pregnant after she got pregnant with Noah and Joshua, her twin sons with her ex-Josh Smith. Later on, she gave birth to two more children with her husband, Luis Gutierrez including a son Sebastian and a daughter, Annabella.
Back in September 2020, the MTV alum detailed a scary incident that happened to her young daughter that led her to rush to the hospital. However, after fans started showing their concern, the mother of four revealed the story behind the incident. She shared a video and explained the incident while sobbing as she said, “Our dog, Ruger, who is like one, attacked Annabella.”
“He’s never acted like this. He bit her face, and now we’re waiting for her to go into surgery in the morning for plastic surgery,” she continued.
Teen Mom Jennifer Reveals Her Plans To Take Things Easy
Given the fact that the incident happened during the COVID-19 pandemic, Jennifer had to be alone by her daughter’s side. As reported by The Sun, she shared pictures of Annabella’s injuries and talked about the traumatizing experience.
The 28-year-old wrote, “The hurt in this mama’s heart is extreme. As moms, we immediately start to blame ourselves. We think of the what-ifs. I close my eyes to sleep, I hear the growl-the scream, I open my eyes, and my daughter’s face is an open wound.”

“The dog I loved and trusted did this. I wasn’t able to say goodbye to him. But it could have been worse… I could be saying goodbye to my baby & I’m not,” She concluded.
Finally, Jennifer mentioned that they plan to take things easy as her daughter recovers from the surgery.
