Carlin Bates Shares Moment That Brought Her To Tears
Bringing Up Bates star Carlin Bates Stewart gave fans a peek into her life and showed them a recent moment that brought her to tears. Carlin Bates opens up about her ongoing health challenges.
On Sunday, Carlin hopped on social media to give fans another update about her ongoing health problems. Since May, she has been having seizure-like episodes and passing out.
One time, she passed out and hit her head hard enough to cause a concussion. The Bringing Up Bates star has been in the emergency room, had tests run, and more.
Unfortunately, she is still waiting for answers at this time. Her doctor has adjusted her anti-seizure medication once again, but she is continuing to have episodes. On Monday, she has an appointment to try to figure out whether these episodes are caused by her heart or her brain. So, hopefully, she will get answers soon enough.
After a rough episode on Saturday, Carlin Bates had to rest and recover. Amid all of these troubles, there have been some beautiful family moments.

While updating fans on her health struggles, Carlin Bates also posted a couple of more positive things. In an Instagram Story post, she thanked her husband, Evan, for all he’s done, including putting his career on hold to care for her during this time.
Then, she posted a video that Evan recorded of her and their two-year-old daughter, Layla. In the video, Carlin is crashed out on the couch resting after another rough episode. Her daughter is laying beside her and singing a song to her. It looks like Layla is very into it and is enthusiastic about the song she’s singing.
Carlin Bates wrote, “Evan sent me this video of Layla singing to me and it brought me to tears. They have been my rock!”
