American Idol host almost revealed the goods

Back in May, Ryan Seacrest almost revealed the goods in front of millions. He had to make a quick change during the Season 20 finale of American Idol. Seacrest revealed that his stylist freaked out and had him change his underwear.

In a previous episode of Live with Ryan and Kelly, Seacrest admitted that he almost had a “wardrobe malfunction.” The longtime host was informed that he had to change his underwear at the very last minute. But, there was one problem: Seacrest didn’t have an extra pair.

“America voted and said there was anatomy in the shot,” Ryan Seacrest joked on the morning show. “We go to commercial and [my stylist Miles Siggins] says, ‘Can I tell you something? We need to change your underwear. I said, ‘What do you mean we need to change my underwear?'”

He mentioned the “embarrassing moment” that almost happened in front of millions. Seacrest didn’t have an extra pair of underwear. His stylist gave him a pair of his own. Kelly Ripa was shocked by his admission. She admitted that she would’ve gone commando than wear someone else’s underwear.

Seacrest had to wear “shorter, tighter ones.” He agreed to wear them because Idol is a “family show.” Seacrest didn’t want to make headlines for flashing people. Since being on television for decades, he’s been through his share of fashion blunders.

Ryan Seacrest has another clothing snafu

Ryan Seacrest mentioned his latest fashion blunder during Tuesday’s broadcast of Live With Kelly and Ryan. Queer Eye alum Carson Kressley was the celebrity guest host during the episode. Seacrest admitted to the former stylist that he had a clothing issue. He noticed something embarrassing when he looked down at his suit.

“By the way, my fly is down,” Ryan Seacrest revealed to Kressley and everything else as he quickly zipped himself up.

“What? I guess you’re just happy to see me!” the former Celebrity Big Brother star joked.

Seacrest laughed and admitted that he had to do another quick change. He felt the pressure to look his best since his guest co-star looked great in his pastel suit. The former Bravo star assured him that he looked “fantastic.” This comes after Seacrest showed off his new underwear after almost suffering one on American Idol.
