1000-Lb. Best Friends Season 1 wrapped up quite some time ago, but fans still want to know what’s going on with the cast. Most of the cast members, including Tina Arnold, are pretty active online and happy to share updates with followers.
And it seems as if Tina is trying her absolute best to live a healthy lifestyle since Season 1 concluded. Keep reading to see what the TLC personality had to say.
1000-Lb. Best Friends star Tina Arnold makes some major changes
During the show’s first season, there were times when Tina Arnold rubbed fans the wrong way. They felt she was prudish when she yelled at Vannessa for streaking during their girls’ trip and uncommitted when she had an outburst during an extreme workout session.

But no matter what the haters say, Tina isn’t going to let it bother her. Instead, she’s focused on bettering herself and working on healthier habits.
The journey may be long and difficult, but Tina is committed. She recently uploaded a selfie of herself at the gym.
And that’s not where the progress ends. She also uploaded a photo of her equipment’s monitor after she finished a workout.
“It’s a start… 1 mile in 30 minutes. Now I have a time to beat,” Tina captioned her Instagram post.
“1 day at a time. 30 min is better than no minutes. You go girl!” wrote one of her followers.
“Keep up the good work! That’s calories burned..🏋️♂️🏋️♂️🤸♂️🤸♂️” added another.
Is there any news about Season 2 yet?
TLC hasn’t made any official statements about the possibility of 1000-Lb. Best Friends Season 2 yet. However, there are plenty of reasons to think that the show will come back with new episodes.
For starters, Vannessa Cross hasn’t posted any full-body shots since she got her bariatric surgery. There are plenty of head shots and her face looks much thinner. It’s entirely possible that her contract with TLC doesn’t allow her to show off any weight loss progress until the new season premieres.
Noticeably, Tina hasn’t posted a lot of full-body images either. She posts lots of selfies with her galpals and several photos of the healthy meals she’s eating. It’s possible that she’s made quite a bit of progress too.
So for now, fans will just have to be patient and wait for TLC to make more announcements. And hopefully, that will come sooner rather than later.
