’1000-Lb. Best Friends’ Cast Hyping Fans For New Season?

So when is 1000-Lb. Best Friends coming back for another season? TLC never officially renewed the series, but that hasn’t stooped fans from holding out hope.

And the show’s stars are incredibly active online these days, now more than ever before. Do the women know something we don’t know? Keep reading to see why fans think they’re drumming up support for the new season before TLC makes an announcement.

The 1000-Lb. Best Friends stars seem to be up to something on social media

Both Vannessa Cross and Meghan Crumpler are incredibly active online. They love connecting with fans and sharing inspirational stories with their followers. Fans are drawn to them and really want to see another season of 1000-Lb. Best Friends come out.

And it’s the women’s Instagram activity that leads some fans to believe that another season is on its way.

Another TLC star, Tammy Slaton, said that she is not allowed to share information on her weight loss journey on her social media channels. She informed fans that it’s part of her contract with TLC. They want to keep her weight a secret so they have something to show audience members in new episodes. Many fans suspect the same is going on with Vannessa and Meghan.

Vannessa Cross received bariatric surgery at the end of 1000-Lb. Best Friends Season 1. Since then, she hasn’t posted any full-body shots on her Instagram page. But she does share several selfies and it’s clear that her face is much thinner. On top of that, Vannessa frequently says that she feels amazing and is in great health.

Meanwhile, Meghan seems to be in a much better place too. She struggled with her mental health in the show’s first season. But lately, Meghan is taking a new approach to life. She’s on a journey to self-love and self-acceptance. Is filming the show helping with her self-esteem?

When will TLC make the big announcement?

So far, TLC still hasn’t said anything about a new season of 1000-Lb. Best Friends. But the network is notorious for keeping new seasons secret until just before they air. Plenty of fans believe that the new season is already filming and we’ll see something by the end of the year.

That would be excellent news. Many fans miss welcoming Meghan, Vannessa, and the rest of the women into their homes each Monday night.
