‘Welcome To Plathville’ Drama Drives Moriah & Olivia Plath Apart?

Moriah & Olivia Plath appear to be best friends.
On the show and on social media, fans have gotten to watch Moriah and Olivia bond. The two of them appear to be very close. Not only are they sisters-in-law and friends, but they have also been roommates in Tampa, Florida.
Throughout the show’s four seasons, Moriah has looked up to Olivia and turned to her for advice. They’ve gone on trips together, related over boy drama, and much more. Despite all of the family’s issues, these two seemed to have a solid friendship.
However, things appear to be shifting amid the Welcome to Plathville family drama.
Welcome to Plathville drama picks up and drives sisters-in-law apart?
Now, it looks like Moriah and Olivia may not be as inseparable as fans thought. They previously seemed to stick by each other’s sides during the family conflict. Is the family drama officially driving them apart?
On Tuesday, July 26, two new Welcome to Plathville episodes premiered on TLC and discovery+. In the episodes, the Plath family went out to the cemetery in honor of Joshua’s birthday. If you didn’t know, Kim and Barry Plath’s son, Joshua, tragically passed away at 17 months old.
Olivia explained that she was on the fence about going to the gathering when she learned her mother-in-law, Kim, was going to be there.
Olivia had a lot of feelings about seeing Kim again, as it had been a while since they had last talked. While Olivia went back and forth, Moriah wanted to support her sister-in-law but also didn’t want to miss this important gathering.
In a confessional, Moriah opened up about Olivia and explained that she was getting tired of “working around her feelings.” She also noted that Joshua’s birthday had nothing to do with Olivia anyway.
It’s unclear if this will drive these two apart permanently or if they will eventually move past it. But it looks like Olivia’s drama with Kim is starting to affect other relationships as well.
