This popular Canadian reality TV series brings along ten ambitious glassblowers competing for a residency at the Corning Museum of Glass. It is hosted by Big Brother: USA alum Nick Uhas.

Blown Away Season 3 Shooting Location
Comprising ten episodes, Blown Away Season 3 stars talented artists like Brenna Baker, John Moran, John Sharvin, and many others competing for the grand prize. So, what is this prize? The show’s winner receives prize money of $60,000 along with a residency at the Corning Museum of Glass located in Corning, N.Y.

Similar to its previous seasons, the latest episodes require contestants to push themselves beyond their creative limits and design something that truly leaves the viewers and judges awe-struck. It is produced by a Canadian production company named Marblemedia. The show initially premiered on the Canadian channel Makeful before heading over to Netflix on July 12, 2019.

Talking about the filming locations, the previous seasons of Blown Away were filmed in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. As per host Nick, it is dubbed North America’s Largest Hot Shop. As per Distractify, the warehouse referred to in the show is located on Imperial Street, near Sherman Avenue. While this warehouse was a prominent part of the previous seasons, there is no confirmation that Season 3 also used the same shoot location.
Katherine Gray Returns As Chief Judge In Season 3
Blown Away Season 3 has Katherine Gray return as the chief judge. She attended the Ontario College of Art & the Rhode Island School of Design. Later on, she became a glass artist & university professor. She is also the chairperson of California State University’s department of art and design. Through the years, the glass artist has become an important part of the show.

However, Katherine isn’t the only judge the contestants have to impress this season. They will have to give their best to impress other guest judges, including names such as Deborah Czeresko, who was also the winner of Blown Away Season 1.
Apart from this, the guest judge list also includes Chris Clarke, the director of operations at the Pittsburgh Glass Center. Finally, Season 3 also has Dr. Marianne Mader as a guest judge, who is a space scientist who has worked with NASA and the Canadian Space Agency.

After a heated battle with contestant Minhi Su, John Moran won Blown Away Season 3.
