Tori Roloff Called Out For Not Following Infant Sleep Guidelines: Photo
Little People, Big World star Tori Roloff is taking the heat after showing fans her son, Josiah’s sleep set-up. Tori and Zach’s third child is almost three months old. On Monday, July 25, Tori shared a new snap of Josiah on her Instagram stories. In the snap, the baby boy is lying in his crib. However, there’s more than just the baby in his crib. He’s laying on a baby lounger, which has one swaddle on it. There’s also another blanket on Josiah’s body.
She revealed that it was his “first time sleeping in the crib!”
She also wrote, “We finally got our crib set up (poor third kid lol) and I’m over here getting all sentimental!”
LPBW fans worry for Josiah’s safety.
On Reddit, Tori Roloff’s followers are chatting about her most recent story post. Many of them are calling her out for putting Josiah in such a dangerous position for sleeping.
One fan posted the photo and asked, “Why does Tori have all this crap in the crib with an infant? It’s straight up dangerous.”
Someone else was shocked to see this photo posted on Tori Roloff’s Instagram page. Another fan added, “They all complain about how people judge them but this is stuff they post. This is known to be unsafe for infants. Why even post it at all?”
One fan wrote, “Youd think after 2 kids she would know the basics of safe sleep..” Many fans agree that she should know the infant sleep guidelines by now because Josiah is her third child.
According to the American Association of Pediatrics, babies should sleep on a flat surface with a fitted sheet to reduce the risk of sleep-related infant deaths. There should not be blankets, pillows, or stuffed toys in the crib or bassinet.
Another Reddit user is hopeful that Tori Roloff was planning on staying in the same room as Josiah and keeping a close eye on him during his first crib nap. Tori’s sister-in-law, Audrey Roloff shared a similar sleep set-up a few months ago.
