JoJo Siwa Says She Can’t Wait To Be An Auntie
JoJo Siwa captured the attention of many fans during Dancing With The Stars on Season 30. Many expected her and her partner, Jenna Johnson, to win it all, but they took second place instead. But the women found something so much more valuable than the Mirrorball Trophy — they found each other.
Today, Jenna and JoJo enjoy a very healthy and thriving friendship. In fact, JoJo says she can’t wait to be an aunt to Jenna’s unborn baby.
JoJo Siwa can’t wait to meet Jenna Johnson’s baby
Earlier this week, Jenna Johnson and her husband Val Chmerkovskiy announced they are expecting a baby in January. Jenna’s at the end of her first trimester and recently showed off her new baby bump on Instagram. And JoJo was overjoyed when she heard the great news.
“My sister! Oh my god, I am so happy for her,” the 19-year-old said in an interview with E! News. “She’s obviously my family, my best friend. It’s so good. Her and Val have been waiting for a sweet little package like this and I’m very happy and grateful that they got it.”
JoJo also revealed that she’s known about Jenna’s pregnancy for a while now, but had to keep things quiet until Jenna was ready to tell the world.
“Jenna will be in my life for forever without a doubt,” JoJo continued. “She has changed my life so much and made such an impact on my life. She’s like an older sister…I will for sure be auntie. Obviously my mom’s incredible, but Jenna is such an incredible, motherly figure in my life,” she added. “Jenna looked after me and still looks after me like no other and so for her own precious sweet little baby, she’s going to be the best mom.”
The women had a special bond on the set of DWTS
Even though Jenna and JoJo don’t see each other as often as they would like, the 19-year-old says she still carries lessons Jenna shared with her during their time on the show.
“Jenna and I would always say, ‘We’re prepared, we’re excited and we have each other’ every time we danced,” JoJo said in a recent episode of JoJo Goes. “I kept that with me. Now, obviously, I don’t have Jen with me — I’m doing stuff like this by myself — and so right before I do something like this, I say, ‘I’m prepared, I’m excited and I have myself.’”
DWTS fans really love how well the women’s friendship developed over the past year and can’t wait to see where it goes next.
