Jessa Seewald Puts Her Foot Down, Sets Record Straight?
Former Counting On star Jessa Seewald has officially had enough. The Duggar daughter is putting her foot down and setting the record straight when it comes to her family’s drama and relationships. Keep reading to see what she had to say and find out what this is all about.
On Thursday, July 7, Duggar cousin Amy King took to social media to share about the baby shower she threw for Jill Dillard. In her post, she included a photo of herself and Jill. She also posted a photo of Cathy Dillard (Jill’s mother-in-law), Jill, Deanna Duggar (Jill’s aunt), and herself.
However, when Amy shared these photos, fans began speculating about who was and wasn’t there. Jessa Seewald made it clear that she was present. But she also got feisty with fans who were asking about the lack of photos of other family members.
Now, Jessa has more to say about it all. She made an even bolder statement while addressing this all again.

After plenty more comments rolled in about who was and wasn’t at the baby shower, it looks like Jessa has finally had enough.
One fan asked if Michelle was at the shower and others speculated potential drama within the family. In response, Jessa got feisty and explained herself. She said that rumors about her family make her “angry” and that she wants to “put a stop to it.”
She said the “narrative” about her family and who likes or dislikes who is a “false one.”
Then, she said, “I was there at the shower, but pretty much everyone else was out of town whether for a wedding, family reunion, or beach trip. Summertime is busy and you cannot always coordinate 19+ schedules. Anyone with more than one adult kid should know that.”
Jessa Seewald then went on to talk about her mom amid rumors that she snubbed Jill. She said, “My mom and all of us sisters + SIL love her dearly and she knows that!”
She explained that there are other times for the family to be together besides baby showers. She claimed that they spend “plenty of time together.”
Then, the former Counting On star continued, “Pics are great, but sometimes you’re caught up in the conversation and enjoying everyone company and not every gathering, play date or dinner has to be a photo op.”
Finally, Jessa Seewald said, “Quit spreading hate. She has family support–stop this nonsense.”
