Josh Duggar Hides In Prison Cell, Only Leaving For Food?
Josh Duggar is now in federal prison so he can serve his 12-year sentence. However, it sounds like he might not be too comfortable there just yet. He’s reportedly only coming out for meals and mostly hiding in his prison cell. Keep reading to get all of the details.
In case you missed it, last week, Josh was transferred to the Federal Correctional Institute in Seagoville, Texas. He was previously waiting in the Washington County Jail in Arkansas since he was convicted back in December. He was found guilty of child pornography charges. One of the reasons he’s in Seagoville is the s*x offender programs offered at this particular facility.
According to a leaked tape from within the prison walls, his fellow inmates were complaining about him before he even arrived at the facility. The tape suggests that many of the prisoners know who he is. And one wanted to get his autograph, too.
So, how is Josh Duggar doing now that he’s been in the federal prison for a few days?

In a new Instagram post this weekend, Katie Joy of Without a Crystal Ball shared an update about Josh’s life behind bars. The YouTuber says she has a source who knows what’s going on with Josh these days.
In her latest post, she wrote, “My daily updates from prison about Josh today are that he’s still only leaving his room to eat. He’s not leaving the building & not interacting with many people.”
She added, “The inmates are keeping a close eye on him.”
As for how Josh Duggar is spending his Fourth of July holiday, he may not be doing much at all. Katie noted, “They had a 4th of July BBQ yesterday but our contact said it was so hot out in Seagoville most [of] the inmates didn’t attend.”
With 12 years still to go behind bars, we’ll have to see if things change for Josh. Maybe he will continue to hide throughout the duration of his sentence, or maybe he will finally get comfortable with it soon. Hopefully, Katie Joy will continue to share updates from her sources.
