In a new preview for the Tuesday, July 5 episode of Welcome to Plathville, Barry Plath may have some big news to drop on his kids. The TLC star calls his kids in for a little meeting, and things look serious. Keep reading to get all of the details.
If you’ve been watching this season of Welcome to Plathville, you know that tensions are high between Barry and his wife, Kim Plath. Their marriage is on the rocks. And last week, she even mentioned the word “divorce,” taking Barry by surprise.
While Kim and Barry’s relationship has been highlighted in the current season, the kids don’t seem to be entirely in the know. Kim and Barry have had a few conversations with their kids but haven’t shared all of the details of their marital troubles.
Now, it looks like Barry might be ready to share more details with his children.
Welcome to Plathville Preview: Barry Sits Down With His Kids
On Monday, July 4, TLC shared a new peek into the upcoming episode. In a confessional, Ethan Plath says, “Today, I’m going to see my dad. This is the first time that we’re gonna actually talk in like two years.”
Welcome to Plathville viewers previously saw a tough confrontation between Barry and Ethan. Now, it’s time for them to face each other again. It seems like something pretty important has brought them together after a couple of years apart.
As Ethan prepares to talk with his dad, as well as his siblings, he says, “I definitely get the feeling that something big and something bad has happened.”
The preview doesn’t reveal too much about what happens during the conversation. But it looks like things are intense as Barry has a very serious look on his face.
It’s possible that Barry is sharing some big news about his marriage with his kids. Maybe he’s filling them in on where he and Kim stand, or maybe something else is going on. Either way, it doesn’t look like this is an easy conversation for Barry to have. He’s seen reading the Bible before talking to his kids.
