‘Say Yes To The Dress’ Season 20 Heads To TLC
Say Yes to the Dress Season 20 is heading to TLC. At least that’s what the network claims. They announced the news to their followers on social media. But did they make an oopsy? Read on to learn more about the news and more about the upcoming season.
How many seasons of Say Yes to the Dress are there?
According to Google and the official TLC website, there are currently 20 seasons of Say Yes to the Dress. Season 20, Episode 1 premiered on July 17, 2021. It’s unclear whether this is part two of Season 20. TLC never said that Season 20 was split into two parts at the time of last year’s announcement.
Maybe the network has regrets about not giving the show a proper 20th season. The TLC hit series first debuted in 2007 with the premise of giving brides-to-be their perfect dress at the famous Kleinfeld’s in New York City.
For the past 20 seasons, thousands of women appeared on the show to say “yes” to the dress. Most of them have overcome struggles in their lives, while others had to deal with rude remarks from their friends or family members. There are also concerns about budget and pressure to have a perfect wedding.
The show has shown a diverse array of women who have a story that is worth sharing. In January 2022, The List and Nilsen Report teased that Season 21 of Say Yes to the Dress was coming to TLC soon. The new season is expected to have the return of in-person meetings and a fresh start at Kleinfeld’s.
Season 20 of Say Yes to Dress coming to TLC?
A few days ago, TLC announced on its official social media accounts that Say Yes to the Dress Season 20 is premiering on Saturday, July 9. That’s about a week from now. The short clip on Instagram shows consultant Randy Fenoli speaking to one of the clients. He’s expected to make his return to the series.
Randy knows how to make brides happy. Unfortunately, Season 20 was different from the past seasons. Randy had to take on the virtual shopping experience in order to keep their clients safe. They had to follow strict safety protocols since it was filmed during the time of the pandemic.
Fans didn’t question TLC’s announcement on social media. And the fans question just about everything the network shares. It’s unclear why TLC is calling the new season “20” instead of “21.”

Maybe it was an easy mistake or maybe they want to forget the previous season. The media has been rolling with this announcement as well. They’re also calling it Season 20 of SYTTD. So maybe TLC wants to take the current season and do something big with it.
