‘The Family Chantel:’ Blatant Clues Show Is Fake?
Fans of The Family Chantel think the show is fake. They claim there are blatant clues that reveal its fake storylines. Chantel Jimeno and Pedro Jimeno continue to share their story with the viewers long after appearing on 90 Day Fiance. The show focuses on Chantel’s side of the family.
They became famous for their explosive fights and one-liners on the original reality series. This led to the success of The Family Chantel. However, it seems like this family always runs into drama. Some fans want to know if the show really is as dramatic as it seems.
Is the TLC series fake?
Fans want to know if the show is fake. 90 Day Fiance fans called out the show for its fake storylines. Former cast member Deavan Clegg suggested that she faked some of her scenes with her ex-husband Jihoon Lee.
“We did everything for the show because he had debts and I had medical bills to pay,” Deavan wrote on Instagram in May 2022, per In Touch Weekly. “We never slept in the same bed, we faked it for YouTube and the show … We knew if we didn’t finish the season and spoke out, we wouldn’t get paid.”
It’s likely that The Family Chantel is also fake. The show has had its share of dramatic moments like the dinner fight between Pedro and Chantel’s brother River Everett. Both of their families continue to serve up the drama. Some fans noticed that the “family scenes are the most bluntly scripted scenes.” There are clues that some of the storylines have been made up for the show.
Fans of The Family Chantel think the show is fake
The Family Chantel focuses on the drama between Pedro and Chantel’s families. Yet, in Season 3, Pedro wanted to reach out to his estranged father. Pedro Sr. left his son and his younger sister, Nicole Jimeno when they were little. In Season 3 of The Family Chantel, Pedro claimed he didn’t know anything about that side of the family.
He didn’t even know he had a brother with whom he shared the same name. However, his mother wouldn’t answer questions about that side of the family. Pedro reached out to his half-siblings to learn more about his father’s side of the family.
In December 2021, reality TV blogger True Crime Jankie revealed that Pedro already met siblings outside of the show. He shared a photo with them in 2014 on social media. Fans have already called out the cast members for creating fake storylines just to remain on air.
Is Winter’s love for real?
Winter Everett has also shared her story on The Family Chantel. She got engaged to her boyfriend, Jah. But then the couple ended their relationship of seven years due to their differences. In the recent season of The Family Chantel, Winter revealed that her new love is from another country.
Fans on social media think this man isn’t for real. Winter claims she met a named Masoma from Nigeria. He was the one who reached out to her online. Winter finds it “interesting” since she never spoke to someone who’s “literally in Africa.” Fans will have to see if Winter’s relationship is for real or for the show.
