’90 Day Fiance’ Paul Staehle Breaks Silence, Says Pierre Is Safe
90 Day Fiance star Paul Staehle wants the world to know his truth. It has been a rocky month for him and now, he is speaking out on the events that have occurred. He wants everyone to know about his and his son’s safety and if anyone really went “missing.”
Paul’s Messed Up 90 Day Fiance Past
Viewers first met Paul when he appeared on the debut season of the spinoff Before the 90 Days. He was preparing to travel from Kentucky to meet his love, Karine Martins, in Brazil. The two met online so they had no idea what would happen when they met in person. He was an interesting character, overpacking and overthinking everything that could go wrong in Brazil. Paul went so far as to find ways to protect himself from a specific fish that could crawl up his private area while swimming. He finally made it but they had to use a translator app in order to communicate. Furthermore, he had to break it to her at some point that he had a slightly rough past and hope that she would still love him.
Very early on, she had a miscarriage which financially set him back. It was not easy to support her but he did move to Brazil to live with her. In 2017, they got married and two years later, they welcomed their first son, Pierre. Unfortunately, the love did not last, per Us Weekly, and later that year, Karine wanted out of the marriage. It appeared she had left him for another man and took their son but they reconciled but she was unhappy with their new home in America. In the summer of 2020, Karine and Pierre were allegedly missing but she countered that Paul had sexually abused her. It seemed it was over for good but it wasn’t.

Paul was visibly shaken by these allegations and his wife leaving him. However, there was more to the story as it appeared Karine was actually pregnant once again. He alleged that he was also a victim and that his wife put glass in his food. Additionally, her friends tried to blackmail him. Restraining orders were enforced but they seemed to like the drama because, within a few months, the duo had them dropped and were back together. She also withdrew her allegations of any sexual abuse. In early 2021, the couple welcomed their second son, Ethan to the world.
It was only a matter of time before this happiness bubble was going to burst. At the end of 2021, video footage from the couple’s home camera was leaked. It showed Karine yelling at Paul, presumably over money. Their eldest son, Pierre watches over as if he has seen it before. Paul tries to put on his shoes when his wife lunges over at him and yanks him back. She was scheduled to appear in court in March of this year. As if things could not get weirder, Paul and Pierre were reported missing.

At the beginning of June, Pierre was reported missing and alleged to have been with Paul. It circulated everywhere and really gained notoriety over the past few days. Interestingly enough, Karine was still posting on her social media as if it was just another day. What mother in crisis does this?
There have been conflicting reports but now TMZ has spoken to Paul about what really happened. He claims that this is all a big misunderstanding. Yes, he knows that he and his son, Pierre were reported missing and it was posted on the Missing People in America bulletin. However, he shares that he took his son along on a work trip with him.
The reality star has sole custody of both of his children but has been going between Florida and Pennsylvania on a job search. So, why did he bring Pierre, 3 with him? Apparently, he has extreme separation anxiety so Ethan stayed back with Paul’s mother. It was after they left that CPS came and took Ethan and then filed the missing person report. As of now, Pierre is with Paul’s family, according to a source and Paul is hopeful to get his children back as soon as he can.
