TLC’s Shauna Rae Celebrates Birthday In Big Way
There’s plenty to celebrate on TLC! Not long ago, the cast of I Am Shauna Rae revealed there would indeed be a second season of the show. But there’s more good news — Shauna Rae herself just celebrated a very special birthday.

Shauna Rae has a blast during her birthday celebration
Fans familiar with Shauna Rae know that she’s actually much older than she appears to be. So how old did she turn on her most recent birthday?
Online sources report that the TLC star was born in 1999, which makes her 23 years old this year.
“Thank you @naiyhvictoria and @rylee_m_s for coming along with me to see Avril Lavigne and making my birthday one to remember! 🎊🎉” Shauna posted on Instagram, referring to her friend Naiyh and younger sister Rylee. The women appeared to have an amazing time at the concert and uploaded several goofy photos.
It’s definitely a fun and exciting way to kick off 23! Fans sincerely hope that Shauna, Naiyh, and Rylee had a great time at the show. But even more so, they’re very excited to see what the show’s second season has in store for them.
The TLC personality is determined to have an independent life
I Am Shauna Rae is definitely coming back for Season 2. However, it’s not yet known what kind of storylines fans will get to see yet. Shauna’s birthday bash will probably be covered, but what else?
In the show’s first season, Shauna made it abundantly clear that she wants to live independently from her parents at some point in her life. She and Rylee talked about possibly getting an apartment together. Rylee turned 18 and graduated from high school, so she was eager to get out of the house too.
Naturally, the sisters’ parents were less than pleased with this plan. But after the cameras stopped rolling, Shauna Rae started taking steps toward independence.
She started learning to drive and even managed to obtain her learner’s permit. As far as anyone knows, she doesn’t quite have her license yet. But hopefully, that isn’t too far off. Fans really hope that TLC will cover this in the show’s second season and can’t wait to see what else is in store.
Other storylines may include the wedding of Shauna’s older sister Tara and the family’s appearance at the 2022 Pride Parade. But fans will just have to keep waiting to see what else happens.
