Duggar Fans Wonder What PJs Michelle & Jim Bob’s Girls Slept In
Duggar fans have lots of questions about the way Michelle and Jim Bob‘s kids were raised. Most recently, fans are curious to know what kind of pajamas the girls slept in growing up.
If you follow the Duggar family, you may know about their strict modesty rules. While living under Michelle and Jim Bob’s roof, the girls are expected to wear long skirts or dresses. They must dress modestly at all times, including while swimming or participating in sports.
However, the family’s followers wonder if the same rules are in place at night. Keep reading to see what fans are saying.
Duggar Fans Wonder What PJs Michelle & Jim Bob’s Girls Slept In
In a new confession on the Duggar Bates Confessions page on Instagram, a fan anonymously submitted a new question.
The fan wrote, “I was always curious what did the girls wear for pajamas growing up? Did they sleep in old lady nighty dresses? We never saw them and for good reason.”
This then sparked a discussion in the comments section.
Many fans assume they dress very modestly to sleep. They think they probably wear something similar to what they wear during the day.
A longtime fan recalls seeing the girls’ sleepwear once. They wrote, “I remember night dresses, the ankle length granny style ones in 14 and pregnant, I don’t think they ever showed any of them in nightwear after that though.”
Another fan saw this moment too and said, “I remember this. They wore long nightgowns…”
Someone else chimed in, “Anna spoke on an episode bow she learned from Michelle, that children don’t always have to wear Pajamas & can sleep in their clothes.”
Of course, there’s no way for fans to know for sure what the Duggar kids wear to bed. This isn’t something they showed on TLC or post about on social media these days.
Now that some of the Duggar women have grown up and gotten married, some of them have ditched Michelle and Jim Bob’s modesty rules. So, as you can see in the picture above, Joy-Anna Forsyth sometimes chooses to wear regular PJs. It’s possible that many of her married sisters do the same.
