In case you don’t know, Amy is the Duggar children’s cousin. Her mom, Deanna, is Jim Bob’s sister. The late Grandma Mary was Jim Bob and Deanna’s mother.
Over the years, Amy has been called out by Duggar fans and critics many times. Most recently, she’s taking the heat for her “pro-life” stance and for celebrating Roe v. Wade being overturned.
Amy King’s past resurfaces.
On Reddit, Duggar Snarkers have dug up information about Amy’s past. They have recently rediscovered an article about Amy, which was published in 2015. The People Magazine article includes a quote from Amy. At the time, she was preparing to marry her husband, Dillon King. This was shortly after the news of Josh Duggar’s molestations went public.
On the topic of the molestations, Amy said, “I didn’t know about it. It took me by surprise.”

After reading through the 2015 interview, the family’s critics are disappointed. The person who re-shared the article on Reddit wrote, “Amy has always been a massive piece of Sh*t.”
They think it’s ridiculous that Amy tried to say that the whole family was over something as traumatic as Josh molesting his sisters.
Someone else chimes in, “If only actual victims could dismiss such a deeply traumatic incidents from their minds so easily.”
Many users are continuing to call her out for profiting off of the Duggar family name. They believe Jill Dillard’s husband, Derick, does the same thing.
One more Reddit user says, “She clearly just jumps onto whatever opinion train is most popular and rides it as far as she can go. F*ck Amy.”
