Jill Dillard Snubbed By Michelle Duggar & Sisters On Special Day?
Former Counting On star Jill Dillard celebrated big over the weekend, but she may have been snubbed by her mom, Michelle Duggar, and her sisters. So, what happened?
If you didn’t know, there’s some distance between Jill and her family. When she and her husband, Derick Dillard, were on TLC’s Counting On, they claimed that they were not paid what they should have. It sounds like Jim Bob Duggar was managing the money and giving it to his kids. Jill even had to seek legal guidance to recover some of the money.
Jill Dillard has been open about setting boundaries with her parents. And it doesn’t look like they spend a lot of time together these days. Now, Michelle has skipped a special celebration for Jill.
Jill Dillard documents a very exciting day.
In a new Facebook post on Monday, June 27, Jill Dillard documented a special day. This past weekend, her cousin Amy King threw her a baby shower. Amy previously dropped hints about this on social media but didn’t reveal when the shower was. Now, Jill has many sweet snaps to share from the day.
In her post, she wrote, “I feel so loved and more prepared now for baby boy with all the gifts, prayers & blessings by friends and family (+ several who couldn’t attend the party in person) who showered us this weekend in anticipation of our little man’s arrival next month!”
Then, she gave a shoutout to those who organized the shower. She wrote, “Special thanks to the hosts: my MIL Cathy Dillard Byrum my SIL Deena Dillard my cousin Amy Rachelle King & my Aunt Deanna Duggar.”

Interestingly, Jill Dillard didn’t mention her mother, Michelle, or her many sisters. They also didn’t make it into any of the photos.
Based on what Jill has shared so far, it looks like her mom and sisters might have completely skipped this gathering.
It’s worth noting that a few family members appear to be out of town at the moment. Jana Duggar was in Ohio for a wedding over the weekend. Jim Bob and Michelle were spotted in Illinois recently. So, maybe they were truly busy and couldn’t make it. Or maybe they snubbed Jill, especially with the distance between them anyway.
