The Australian hottie wants to show off his bare butt to the world. He calls it a “dream” of his. In his latest interview, Hemsworth explained the decision to bare it all in the latest film. This might also be a “dream” come true for fans of the character and the good-looking actor.

Marvel fans will see a naked Thor?

In an interview with Variety at Thursday’s premiere of Thor: Love and Thunder at El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, Chris Hemsworth teased about the opportunity of going bare. He gets to show off his booty. Hemsworth has been wanting to do this for a long time. He first got the idea when he took his shirt off the first time that he played the classic character.

“It was 10 years in the making that scene — kind of a dream of mine,” Chris Hemsworth told Variety with a smile on his face. “The first time I played Thor I took my shirt off and I thought, ‘You know what’s gonna sweeten this… a decade from now it’s all gonna come off.'”

Taika Waititi is the director behind the Thor movie. He felt that it was important to focus on Chris Hemsworth’s physique in the film. Waititi revealed how that bare moment came together.

“I feel like we had all talked about it,” Waititi said in his interview with Variety. “We had talked about, ‘Yeah, we gotta show off this body.’ My whole thing was like, ‘Chris works so hard, you’ve gotta show it off. Don’t cover it up with all these suits and the cape and stuff, it’s not fair!'”

Chris Hemsworth bared it all before

Fans aren’t used to seeing a naked Thor on screen. However, this isn’t the first time that Chris Hemsworth had to bare it all for a film. He wouldn’t be too shocked if the studio decides to go all the way eventually. For him, it’s a very easy feat.

“I had had that out in Rush many many years ago,” Chris Hemsworth said. “In a Marvel film, it was a very large screen, it was a very big pair of cheeks, and I don’t know, I had seen it before.”
