What Is Hallmark’s Campfire Christmas About?

According to the Hallmark synopsis, Peyton’s (Anderson) parents own a summer camp, and now are ready to retire. However, they have decided to host one more Christmas In July shindig. This is fitting, as this was a camp tradition, and the holiday nostalgia is a perfect send-off for the alumni and their families.

That means Peyton can reunite with some long-time friends including current Broadway star Beckett (Bowyer-Chapman), the camp sweethearts, now spouses, Janice (Stryker) and Dave (Hamilton, and Chris (Santos).

However, this also means Thomas (Bleu) is also coming out. Thomas broke Peyton’s heart. Moreover, he did it right after high school. Therefore, Peyton is not completely thrilled with this reunion.

Yet, as the old camp gang enjoy participating in camp activities, including crafts, as well as doing rehearsals for the Christmas pageant, it starts to feel like old times. Each member of the group starts to loosen up and start to reimagine their future lives, and remember their dreams.

Could they be headed towards their happily ever after?
