Seeking Sister Wife throuple Marcus, Taryn, and India Epps were just introduced in the latest episode. They have a very interesting dynamic. Yet nothing can compare to what goes on behind closed doors and it is not just their bedroom doors. As an Ohio councilman, Marcus has been at the center of two scandals. Now, it is coming out that he has some serious financial issues. Are they connected to the scandals?

Attempting Seeking Sister Wife At The Wrong Time?

In their first episode, Marcus explained his situation with his partners, Taryn and India. He is married to Taryn who he met in college. They were together for over a decade when he was dramatically unfaithful. So she left with their daughter for about a year and that was when he met India. They hit it off and got engaged, but Taryn returned and revealed she wanted to try and work it out. Little did she know he had met India and started a new life. She would not accept him being with someone else and wanted her gone. However, he was not about to let India go so he suggested a plural relationship. They thought about it and the women finally agreed and actually realized that they liked each other enough to give it a try.

Now, Marcus is pursuing other women to see which one would be a good fit to bring into the family. He noted that he was a city councilman in Ohio but flew back and forth to Florida. Marcus did not elaborate on anything that was going on with his career like the scandals. Last July, there was a house fire along with housing violations. As it turned out, this was a home Marcus owned. He claimed the only reason there was a search warrant granted for the home was to get him to resign. In his mind, it was all political but his issues dated back to 2020 and an after-hours club he operated. There, an unsolved murder occurred but wait, there’s more.

In The Money Hole

If the above is not enough, here’s some more on Councilman Marcus Epps. According to Fox 8 Cleveland, Marcus is one of sixteen local leaders behind on their taxes. He owed the most with 12K in back taxes. Marcus attempted to justify this: “I’ll just explain that briefly by saying, I’m not sure if you’re aware, but in March my house burned down. So it’s just been a struggle obviously for our family.” Yet, county records did not show any proof of property tax payments since 2019. He was asked to provide payment dates but was unable to do so.

It is unclear if these issues will be brought up during the season or if they will hinder him from finding love. One thing is clear: when Backwoods Barbi first broke his scandals, fans wanted him off the show. TLC really needs to vet these cast members far better than they do.
