Meeting The Epps Family In Season 4 Of Seeking Sister Wife

Marcus is married to Taryn who he met in college as he was hooking up with another girl. He was quite the player but then he knew he had to have only her. Finally, she gave in and they have been together ever since. After over a decade together, she discovered he was being extremely unfaithful. She took their daughter and left the house so he started dating India. The two became engaged and about a year later, Taryn called him up because she wanted to work it out. Little did she know her husband was engaged to someone new and she wanted her out. Somehow, he was able to get both women to agree on trying polygamy. Now, they get along really well and are happy together.

They have a daughter, his son, and his son’s friend and are getting ready for Marcus to start dating someone from his past. He will also date other women to see who is the best fit for the family. The biggest issue is when he can be intimate with these women because he feels he should be able to test drive the cars before he buys them. To add to his situation, scandals from recent years were leaked prior to the show’s airing. This led to some viewers wanting the family removed which could have been why they did not pop up until episode two. So, what are these scandals exactly? It is not good for a councilman.

What’s The Scandal?

Part one includes a situation at an after-hours club where a 2020 murder occurred. The investigation is still ongoing but Marcus Epps operated said club. This first appeared on Backwoods Barbi’s YouTube channel. Additionally, she discussed his housing violations so that is part two. According to Cleveland 19 News, a home that is owned by Epps was searched early in the morning of July 29th, 2021. A search warrant had been issued after there was a fire along with housing code violations. At the time, Marcus believed the warrant was issued as a political ploy.

They allegedly hoped to get him to resign: “It’s all political, it’s all about at our next city council meeting I am trying to mandate body cameras by our officers. And the day before this search warrant was execute I was in the mayor’s office going in on them about a demolition project that started on Euclid Avenue and it is a catastrophe.” Contrary to what Epps is saying, both the Mayor and Police Chief are in favor of body cameras, on record, at that. The home has become a hazard and it seems no responsibility was taken by Epps. As of January 2022, he had pleaded not guilty.
