What Is Lifetime’s Who Kidnapped My Mom? About?
According to the Lifetime synopsis, Eva had mysteriously disappeared just a year before. Thankfully, the young widow was discovered. Moreover, she was only in her backyard.
Therefore, due to the circumstances, the police did not fully believe that Eva was kidnapped. Instead, they believed she was an overworked, and overtired single mom.
Eva is doing the very best she can. Between the death of her husband, and now the abduction, Eva is trying to move forward. Looking for a fresh start, she accepts a new job in a different city, But, this is an unpopular decision.
Her daughters, Sami and Grace, are not happy, nor is her mother-in-law, Nancy. Eva tells them at dinner, and things become tense.
Later in the evening, Sami checks on Eva. However, she is gone! She has disappeared again. The authorities are called in. This time, they are not ready to look for Eva. They are skeptical that Eva is even kidnapped.
In addition, it is Sami’s please against Nancy’s “evidence” that Eva left by choice.
Sami is convinced her mom is being targeted, so she turns to her neighbor Dane. She knows he is one of the few people who believes Eva was previously abducted. Will Sami prove her mother is missing and find her before it’s too late?
