Mama June calls out various parties for canceling her meet-and-greet events
The family matriarch has never been one to shy away from a challenge. And now, Mama June is very angry. As a reality TV personality, she regularly participates in meet-and-greets with fans. However, two planned sponsored events have now canceled on her.
Mama June hates disappointing her fans and now wants to call attention to the issue. And she definitely is not holding anything back.
She recently uploaded a video to her Instagram page calling out the event promoters for canceling her appearances.
“I mean this is getting really old it’s like someone is out there just trying to make me be quiet or they just are jealous of what we are trying to do about giving back,” the reality TV personality wrote on her Instagram page. “…We are going to show them that we are going to continue to shine. We are continuing to change our life every day so if you were going to the Tupelo con in Mississippi or coming to the Dairy Queen in Brunswick Georgia we are sorry.”
However, the comments on the video were less than positive.
Fans react negatively to the reality TV star’s online post
Mama June thought she was doing the right thing by calling people out in her video. But she did not receive the response she desired. Fans reacted pretty negatively to the video. Followers chastised June Shannon for yelling about Dairy Queen in the video. They want her to focus her time and energy on her family instead.
“I think she’s addicted to drama now,” one viewer wrote. “My mom was addicted to men, drama, just addicted to being addicted. Thank goodness for Pumpkin stepping up and being a ‘mother’ to Alanna and Jessica (plus her own 2 kids). You’re worried about not being featured at a Dairy Queen???? Call your kids and become addicted to being a mom & grandmother.”
“I think your rep is damaged. All we see is you lying to your kids and putting random men ahead of anything else,” added someone else. “I would not come.”
