Welcome to Plathville star Ethan Plath is opening up to fans about his parents’ split. If you’ve been watching the family’s TLC show, you’ve seen Kim and Barry Plath’s separation go down.

Kim & Barry Plath go their separate ways.
On Welcome to Plathville Season 4 Episode 4, which premiered on TLC and discovery+ on Tuesday, June 7, fans saw Kim leave her family’s home. She decided she would start staying elsewhere and get some space from her husband, Barry.
This split has been hinted about for weeks on the show. Welcome to Plathville viewers have seen Kim open her own dance studio, make new friends, and step out of her comfort zone. She’s totally transformed since the first couple of seasons of the show.
Ethan Plath’s mom explained, “Barry and I have decided to live separately for a while. The easiest way to do that right now is whenever one of our rental properties is vacant, I pack a bag and I go and I stay there.”

This change doesn’t only affect Kim and Barry. As shown in the newest episode, the whole family has been processing this. Kim and Barry’s children still living at home showed their support for him as his wife walked out.
Now, Ethan Plath is sharing his thoughts on the situation.
After the latest episode of Welcome to Plathville premiered on Tuesday, June 7, Ethan spoke with People. About his parents’ relationship, he said, “I would probably prefer to stay out of it, honestly.”
Then, he explained, “As far as I feel about my mom talking about her grievances with my dad, I really don’t know what to think. I don’t like how public she’s being with a lot of it.”

Kim has been manipulative and insincere from the start, and orchestrated this whole family scenario with lies and deception, he probably just came up with this ‘separation’ thing to start a new storyline and internet, so she can continue to capitalize on her kids, family, and situations. Pretty pitiful, but the kids are very honest, and I do like to see the stories about them and Barry, too. Kim is just not a nice person, at all.
I Agree 100% = Kim IS & ALWAYS Has Been Extremely Manipulative & If I were a “Betting Person,” I would lay my Odds on Kim presently having an Ongoing Affair with her Jamaican Man Nigel = who she says “She supposedly met Him while She was “Working Out” @ a Local Gym, & she was laughing loudly at a Video she was watching online!”
She was like a 16 Year Old Teenage Girl = ALL Smiles &’Giggling = when She invited Nigel to Her Marital Family Home to make them All Dinner! Not to mention that Kim was MOST Disrespectful to Barry while discussing Her & Nigel’s time parameters for “Meeting” @ Gym to “Work Out!”
My Family, Friends & I also Wonder how many times Kim has had Nigel and/or other Men up to Her “Bachelorette Pad” ABOVE the Dance Studio to spend the night, which BARRY Provided for Kim! She had 2 Wine Glasses sitting in clear view in her new Studio Kitchen!
She had made it Crystal Clear that one of her Main Reasons for being such a Strict, OVER Bearing, Protective “Hover Mother” was because Kim said early on in the Show that “HER Mom as an Alcoholic”?!? WHY is Kim suddenly becoming a Party Animal, Drinking Booze with Her Older Children, wearing SHORT, Tight Mini Skirts, Low Cut Tops & dancing to Old Music like a NEW College Girl ?!?
She has already Destroyed EVERY Relationship With ALL of Her Older Children just by HER Control Freak Nature with tthe Kids AND Barry = who Kim completely Controlled for 24 Years!! Now, She Suddenly “Bails & Jumps Ship” on the Little Girls = Only to have Lydia now “Pick Up The Pieces” & FINISH Raising the remaining 3 Children, by Cooking, Cleaning as well as Home Schooling them = PLUS Her Lydia’s new Job @ the Bank!!!
Kim is an Exceptionally POOR Example of a “Mother & Wife!” She SHOULD just Pack Her Bags & MOVE to Jamaica with Nigel!! SHE Would Be NO GREAT LOSS to ANYONE in Plathville = to include Her ENTIRE Family!!
Barry WILL Do a MUCH Better Job of raising His Younger Family Members & Keeping them ALL Close to His Heart! ,
He SO Deserves A Sweet, Kind, Christian Woman Who TRULY RESPECTS & APPRECIATES Barry for “WHO” He Is = and NOT a Lying. Manipulative, Controlling Evil Woman like Kim!! She WILL End Up Being a VERY Lonely OLD Woman = just as She Deserves!! Karma IS Real…..
