‘Welcome To Plathville’ Preview: Kim Plath Separates From Barry
In a new preview of TLC’s Welcome to Plathville, mom Kim Plath separates from her husband, Barry. Their relationship issues have been featured throughout the new season. And now, things seem to be getting even more serious. Keep reading to get all of the latest details about what’s ahead on the TLC show.
In Season 4 of the Plath family’s show, fans have gotten a look at Kim’s total transformation. She’s opening her own dance studio, has started wearing different clothes and more makeup, and seems to be making more time for herself. After being a mother and a wife for more than 20 years, she wants to finally do something for herself.
Her husband, Barry has even begun to question if this could be a mid-life crisis.
Because the Welcome to Plathville mom is prioritizing herself, things have changed in her life as a mother and a wife. Barry seems to be picking up the extra slack.
On the most recent episode of the show, Kim brought home her friend, Nigel, to cook for her family. And after watching this, fans couldn’t believe what was going on. Many of them thought Kim was acting like a little “schoolgirl.” Then, in that episode, she slept on the couch.
Now, she’s further distancing herself from her husband, based on a new preview.
Welcome to Plathville Preview: Kim Plath Moves Out
On social media on Monday, June 6, TLC promoted the next episode of the show. Welcome to Plathville Season 4 Episode 4 premieres on TLC on Tuesday, June 7.
The preview for the newest episode reveals where Kim and Barry stand now. She explained, “Barry and I have decided to live separately for a while. The easiest way to do that right now is whenever one of our rental properties is vacant, I pack a bag and I go and I stay there.”
The Welcome to Plathville star shared more details, saying, “Barry tried for a little bit, but at some point I felt like he’s not really trying. As soon as he thought maybe it was working, he stopped trying. And once I realized that, I feel like emotionally, I was just done. I just feel like there’s no way it’s going to work.”
“It’s like he wants me to stay but I don’t know that he wants to really change. I don’t see any way that that emotional intimacy can really be reconnected,” she added.
