Lala Kent Weighs In On Stassi Schroeder’s Wedding Guest List Drama

Lala Kent weighed in on Stassi Schroeder’s wedding guest list drama. Fans noticed that she wasn’t there when Stassi got married to Beau Clark in Rome, Italy. However, that was the case with most of the VPR cast. Stassi and Beau finally had their dream wedding in Rome on Thursday, May 12, 2022, after they secretly married in a private ceremony in September 2020.

Only Katie Maloney and her estranged husband Tom Schwartz were in attendance. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Tom Sandoval and Scheana Shay were one of the first to blab that they didn’t get an invite. Stassi explained that she had to cut her former co-stars for cost reasons, but some aren’t buying it.

Why Lala Kent was a no-show

Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark got married in the middle of the week. This already made it hard for most of their friends to be there for their special day. Also since it was a destination wedding, it makes it even more difficult for everyone to book a flight, especially during the pandemic. The couple had to cut down the wedding guest list because they couldn’t afford for everyone to come.

Their Italian wedding was initially going to be featured on Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules. But then Bravo fired Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens, and Brett Caprioni for their past racist comments and actions. Since Bravo and VPR were going to pay for their wedding, their cast members would’ve been in attendance.

That wasn’t the case last month. Lala Kent was one of those cast members who weren’t in attendance. She revealed why she was missing from Stassi’s big day. The two became close friends over the years, especially when they became first-time moms. Some fans wondered if Lala was cut from the guest list as Scheana and Sandoval.

During her interview on Jeff Lewis Live, Lala Kent explained why she wasn’t there. She explained that the wedding took place at the same time as her Give Them Lala tour. She already postponed the tour twice and didn’t want to let her fans down. Lala immediately informed her friend right away who was “so understanding.”

Had a Stassi Schroeder moment

Lala Kent admitted she had a Stassi Schroeder moment. As fans know, Stassi is the queen of FOMO. She doesn’t like being left out of big moments. Lala felt that way, especially when she saw photos and videos on Instagram. Stassi hasn’t stopped showing content from her wedding week.

“I was having FOMO that I missed out on such an incredible moment in her life,” Lala Kent told Jeff Lewis.

She already knew that Stassi had to cut down her wedding guest list. Stassi confirmed that she disinvited a few of her former cast members. Even though Sandoval said he didn’t get to go, Lala doesn’t think that he and his girlfriend Ariana Madix “were ever invited.” The guest list has caused drama among Stassi’s former cast members.

During her May 23 interview on The Skinny Confidential Him & Her podcast, Stassi said that “everyone’s been pretty understanding.” However, Scheana hinted on her podcast that she doesn’t think Stassi “disinvited” her for budget reasons. Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright were invited but then ditched their former friend’s big day.
