WWE Raw 5/23: 3 Must-See Moments, Full Results
WWE Raw was a bit different this week as the era of RK-Bro as tag team champions is finally over. The Usos unified the tag titles on WWE Smackdown, however, Riddle was out for revenge. Cody Rhodes continued his mini-rivalry with The Miz, though it didn’t end how he had hoped. WWE HOFer Jerry Lawler returned to Monday Night Raw for a special King’s Court. WWE Raw: 3 Must-See Moments
Riddle’s update on RK-Bro
Last week on Friday Night Smackdown, The Usos defeated RK-Bro to unify the WWE Tag Team Titles. After the match, The Bloodline beat down both members of RK-Bro, resulting in an injured Randy Orton. Riddle kicked off WWE Raw and informed the WWE Universe of the bad news about his tag team partner. Despite the news, Riddle wasn’t going down without a fight. A match was set up in response, with Riddle teaming with The Street Profits to due battle against The Usos and Sami Zayn. After a hard-fought battle, Riddle and The Street Profits were able to get the win.
Bobby Lashley’s big challenge
Ever since MVP turned on Bobby Lashley and joined with Omos, the Almighty One has been on the defensive. At Hell in a Cell, Lashley gets another shot at the Collusos, however, he was given a golden opportunity in the process. Lashley faced MVP in a one-on-one match, and if he got the win, he would choose the stipulation. Unfortunately, Omos interfered behind the referee’s back allowing MVP to pick up the victory. As a result, MVP will choose the stipulation at Hell in a Cell.
Crashing the King
Veer Mahaan causes chaos on “The King’s Court”
WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler returned to WWE Raw with a special edition of “The King’s Court.” Lawler welcomed the undefeated Veer Mahaan and attempted to get the monster to speak. As expected, Lawler made jokes at the expense of Mahaan, which didn’t go over well. Mahaan became frustrated and was about to attack “The King,” until Rey and Dominik Mysterio rushed to the ring to make the save.
