Vanderpump Rules couple’s shocking divorce
When Vanderpump Rules premiered on Bravo in 2013, SURver Katie Maloney was already boo’d up with Tom Schwartz. The model/wannabe-bartender was reluctant to take the next step in their relationship.
However, he eventually proposed to Maloney and their wedding featured on Season 5. Their marriage struggles played out in the following seasons.
In March of 2022, the couple confirmed that they were ending their relationship after 12 years together. Maloney filed for divorce a week later.

In a crossover reality TV fans weren’t expecting, Katie Maloney appeared on a Bachelor Nation podcast this week. She spoke to Becca Kufrin and Michelle Young on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast.
During the chat, she bonded with Kufrin over going through very public breakups. Becca Kufrin was (in)famously dumped by Arie Luyendyk Jr. The raw footage of the breakup aired on Season 22 of The Bachelor.
The Vanderpump Rules star also got candid about dating after divorcce. She revealed that she has been on a date, but isn’t looking for anything serious, per Bachelor Nation.

Both Maloney and her ex were guests at former co-star Stassi Schroeder’s recent Italian wedding. The two were among the only former co-stars not snubbed for the event.

Despite splitting up, Schwartz and Maloney are still on good terms. It’s likely for that reason that they didn’t make things awkward at Schroeder’s wedding.
However, Tom raised eyebrows after he returned to the States by posting a photo with a woman named Fawn Everett.
Bravoholics did a deep dive into Everett and discovered she’s a mutual friend of both Tom and Katie. Heavy reported fan speculation that Schwartz met up with the friend during a layover on the flight home from Italy.
While Katie Maloney seems ready to move on, Tom Schwartz may not be on the same page. The breakup could make things awkward during the upcoming Season 10 of Vanderpump Rules.
