Welcome to Plathville fans think that Max Kallschmidt may be trying to hang onto the reality TV clout despite splitting from Moriah Plath. His recent actions have fans questioning his motives. Scroll down to get all of the details.
In between Season 3 and Season 4, Moriah and Max’s relationship came to an end. When sharing his side of the story, Max said that he met another woman. He claims he wasn’t intimate with the other woman, but it was enough to end his relationship with Moriah.
On the Welcome to Plathville Season 4 premiere this week, Moriah shared a few details about their split, revealing how broken she is. However, she didn’t want to talk about it too much.
However, with his split from Moriah Plath, Max has lost his role on Welcome to Plathville. While he was on the show, he gained a lot of social media followers and attention.
Now, it seems possible that he’s trying to chase clout and continue to take advantage of the TLC fame.
Welcome to Plathville fans wonder if Max Kallschmidt is just chasing clout.
This week on Instagram, Max promoted Moriah’s latest single. He told his followers, “Aye, this is kinda fire.”
Fans questioned this because the couple has split up. Some wondered if he was trying to save face after fans saw how depressed Moriah was after their breakup.
However, he may not have gotten the response he was hoping for. Immediately, fans questioned his intentions. So, he figured it was worth explaining.
He talked to his phone, explaining, “Know that I genuinely was supporting Moriah by posting that because she’s obviously getting better at writing songs. It was a genuine support.”
Then, he wrapped up his message, saying, “I didn’t mean anything else by that. I was just genuinely supporting Moriah and her new success.”
On Reddit, Welcome to Plathville fans are convinced he’s just chasing clout these days. One fan speculates, “I think he’s just trying to stay relevant. I don’t get a good vibe from him at all.”
Another adds, “He wants back on the TLC gravy train. I don’t trust him.”
