Hallmark’s Summer Nights kicks off with Hidden Gems. This romance stars Hunter King (Young and The Restless, Life In Pieces), Beau Mirchoff (Good Trouble, Narcos: Mexico), Eliza Maher (Taking The Reins, You Can Do Better), Jordan Matlock (Reagan, NCIS: Hawaii), Diane Sargent (I Married A Murderer, Skin: The Movie), Brian Connors (Senior Entourage, McFarland, USA), Isabelle Du (Monarch, Sirens Of Chrome), Marita de Lara   (This Is Us, General Hospital), Adam Jognson (Somewhere In The Middle, The Outpost), Joan Powers (Ala Moana Boys, Tales Of The Circle Keys), Allana Vicente (The Christmas Bow, The Cell), Melanie Lewis (Criminal Minds, The Drama Club), Sally Jackson (Magnum P.I., All She Can), Sterling Sulieman (Still Star-Crossed, I Know What You Did Last Summer), and Hi`ilei Berg.

What Is Hallmark’s Hidden Gems About?

According to the synopsis, Addie (King) is in Hawaii for a destination wedding. This is not any wedding. This is her sister’s big day, and she is the maid of honor.

However, during a paddleboard yoga session, Addie does the unthinkable. She loses a cherished family heirloom. Somewhere, in the ocean, is her grandmother’s ring. Moreover, she has to find it fast.

Addie is not going to let a big old ocean keep her from achieving her goal. Therefore, she hires a local dive instructor, Jack (Mirchoff). Addie, who is scuba certified because she has always intended on a career in marine science, is going to join him in this search.

Jack is a lone wolf, so the two battle. Eventually, the two compromise. Jack takes her to the hidden gems of the island to search for her lost treasure.

Will exploring the picturesque, romantic settings bring the two of them together? Or, will opportunity be lost at sea?

When Can You Watch Hallmark’s Hidden Gems?

Hallmark’s Hidden Gems premieres on Saturday, June 4, at 8 p.m., Eastern. Encore showings include Sunday, June 5, at 6 p.m., Thursday, June 9, at 8 p.m., Sunday, June 12, at 12 p.m., and Saturday, June 18, at 4 p.m., all times Eastern.

Where Was Hallmark’s Hidden Gems Filmed?

Hallmark’s Hidden Gems was filmed entirely in Hawaii. Moreover, it was shot on location at the Kahala Hotel & Resort. This is in Honolulu, on the island of Oahu.

According to the hotel’s official website, in 1985, Prince Charles and Princess Diana visited this iconic hotel. They needed 100 rooms for their royal entourage.

Every United States president between Lyndon Johnson and George W. Bush has stayed at this hotel. Former President Obama grew up in Hawaii, so he stays in a private residence. However, he does dine at the award-winning hotel restaurant, Hoku.

In addition, Rick’s Bar which is in the original television series Magnum P.I. is at this very hotel. Therefore, this is an iconic hotel, and now they can add Hallmark movies to this special list.
