Why Kylie & Kendall Jenner Fans Think They’re Illiterate?
There are a lot of people constantly speculating about Kylie and Kendall Jenner. However, the newest episode of The Kardashians has fans questioning if they are illiterate.
Kylie and Kendall Jenner illiterate?
The Jenner girls, Kendall and Kylie, have been on TV almost their whole entire lives. Because of it, they actually didn’t finish out high school in their schools. Instead, they left school and finished up with homeschool so that they could follow their celebrity dreams.
Normally, this isn’t brought up a lot. However, after the new episode of The Kardashians fans are actually doubting their ability to read and write.
This all starts with how Kendall cut a cucumber. During the show, Kendall goes to her mom’s house. While there, Kris asks Kendall if she wants the chef to make her a snack. Instead, Kendall opts to make her own snack. That’s when the iconic cucumber cutting scene happened. It’s very clear that Kendall does not know how to cut produce.
Since she couldn’t tackle this simple task, fans are wondering what else she and he sister can’t do. Fans have taken to Reddit to figure it out.
“Then the theory of her and Kylie not knowing how to fully read must be true.,” started one user. “I wouldn’t say they are fully illiterate but Their READING COMPREHENSION must be at a fifth grade level.…that video of Candle [SIC] at the award show struggling to read the prompt is coming to mind….I wonder what other basic skills they lack.”
In the comments, fans go back and forth wondering if not being able to cut a cucumber correlates with not being able to read. It seems in the end, everyone agrees that they likely know way less than the average person their age.
- “When Kendall didn’t know what frugal meant during an interview with all the sisters and Kris 😅 Kylie didn’t seem to know either,” one user adds.
- “I’m sure they can read, but this makes me remember when Kendall and Kylie were doing promo for the YA novel they wrote (lol) it was painfully obvious Kendall had never even READ the book, let alone wrote it. Like Kylie would try to talk about basic plot points/characters and Kendall was like ‘huh oh ya right sure,'” another reminds them.
One person thinks that it’s because Kris made them leave school early. “Because Kris pulled them out of school to turn them into celebs.” However, another clears that up saying Kris wanted them to stay but Kylie was too far behind and didn’t want to go back.
“She actually pushed for them to “stay” in school. Kylie started crying because she didn’t know as much as her class, because they were always working. They went to homeschool. They probably paid people to do the work for them.”
While it’s likely they can read and write, there is a chance that they are behind in some aspects of their learning life. However, that doesn’t seem to matter too much as both Kendall and Kylie Jenner have successful businesses and jobs. And, at the end of the day, even Kendall knows that she cut the cucumber wrong. She’s even willing to have a sense of humor about it on Twitter.
