Amy Halterman couldn’t be more excited to celebrate Mother’s Day this year. Her little boy Gage will be two-years-old this fall and her second son will arrive in July.

Mother’s Day is a very special occasion in the lives of mothers and mother figures. And TLC star Amy Halterman plans to spend the day with her little boy.
“Happy mother’s day to everyone. I’m cuddling with the cutest t bird ever,” Amy captioned her adorable Instagram post. In the photo, fans can see Gage sticking his tongue out at the camera. He’s wearing a “T-bird” shirt and looks happy as can be.
“Happy Mother’s Day to you Amy ❤️” one fan replied to the 1000-Lb. Sisters star. Plenty of other fans and followers left their well-wishes in the comments. It really seems as if the Haltermans will have a happy day celebrating together.
Amy Halterman scheduled a C-section for July 5, so this will be her last year celebrating Mother’s Day with only one son. By this time next year, she will have two little boys in the house to occupy her time.

Fans that keep up with 1000-Lb. Sisters do occasionally see Tammy and Amy’s mom from time to time. Her name is Darlene and she definitely isn’t sentimental.
In one episode, Tammy and Amy said that Darlene does love her children, she just has no idea how to express it. Unfortunately, this meant that the women didn’t get a lot of love or affection in their childhoods.
Amy Halterman may be enjoying Mother’s Day with her son, but it appears she and Tammy snubbed Darlene today. Amy previously noted that Tammy is locked out of her social media accounts at the moment and that’s why she has been quiet for so long. But Amy was active today and didn’t say a word about Darlene.
