JoJo Fletcher & Jordan Rodgers Are Tackling ‘The Big D’
JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rogers of The Bachelorette really believe in reality dating shows. They believe in them so much they are going to host one. The set-up is similar to other shows that have been very popular like Love Island and The Ultimatum.
Ten divorced couples will be moving into a resort in Costa Rica and trying to find love. They have to live with their ex-wives or husbands while they date. That could make for some awkward conversations. The trailer for the show looks like a lot of drama. There is crying and even panic attacks.
What Will JoJo Fletcher and Jordan’s Show Look Like?
According to E-News, the show will have the couples do exercises that will help them make peace with their former partner. There’s an elimination factor to keep things exciting. Each week someone who isn’t connecting in the singles pool will go home.
In the trailer Jordan asks, “who’s still hung up a little bit on their ex with feelings, raise a hand.” The show also appears to have another staple of dating shows, alcohol. There is a lot of drinking and dirty dancing in the trailer.
Jordan shared on social media. He said, “After our wedding & honeymoon it’ll be time to talk about…Divorce …but not ours ha! Don’t miss out on all of the jaw-dropping, hot moments as we help couples navigate new love.”
The Two Are Still Going Strong Since 2016
JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers are still happy and in love years after The Bachelorette wrapped. JoJo just had her Bachelorette party for their wedding last month. After being runner-up on Ben Higgins’ season of The Bachelor JoJo went on to become the lead and got engaged to Jordan.
They talked about planning a wedding during a pandemic. Jordan said with all the delays for two years it’s just now hitting him that they are in the home stretch. JoJo said her only hang-up had been the dress. She kept trying to change from her original and ended up just keeping it the same. They said they were going for an, “Italian Tuscan-inspired wedding,” according to Extra.
Bachelor Nation Is Ready To Watch
JoJo cheekily teased their new show on Instagram. She said, “This summer, me and @jrodgers11 are hosting your new favorite reality dating show #TheBigD. & This D isn’t what you think it is.” Bachelor Nation responded by saying they will be tuning in. Lauren Luyenduk said, “Arie and I will be watching.” Matt James said, “calendar marked.” Jade Roper said, “Looks messy, which means we’ll definitely be watching.”
The Big D premieres on July 7th on TBS. Will you be tuning in to see this new take on love after divorce? Comment with your thoughts down below. As always come back to TV Shows Ace for all things Bachelor.
