WWE Wrestlemania Backlash takes place May 8, 2022, at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island. The event will be available to stream through NBC Peacock in the United States and the WWE Network in international markets. The main event will be a 6-Man Tag Match between The Bloodline against Drew McIntyre and RK-Bro. The main card will start at 8 p.m. therefore, the kickoff show gets started at 7 p.m.

Drew McIntyre and RK-Bro (Randy Orton and Riddle) vs. The Bloodline (Roman Reigns and The Usos (Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso) (with Paul Heyman)
PREDICTION: In the weeks leading up to Wrestlemania Backlash, it was assumed that RK-Bro and The Usos would meet in a unification tag match. During the contract signing, Roman Reigns helped beat down RK-Bro with The Usos by his side. With the beatdown taking place, Drew McIntyre rushed to the ring and made the save.

McIntyre, a former WWE Champion, got into the face of Reigns and made it clear that he wants a shot at the title. With a stadium show this summer in the UK, look for McIntyre to lead his team to a win to set up a title match against Reigns.
Prediction: Drew McIntyre and RK-Bro.

WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship “I Quit” Match: Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Ronda Rousey
In one of the highlight matches at Wrestlemania, Charlotte Flair defeated Ronda Rousey with some questionable tactics. Since then, Rousey has pushed for her opportunity at a rematch. Charlotte has declined, however, that didn’t prevent WWE officials from making their decision. An “I Quit” match was signed, however, much to the chagrin of the champion. With Rousey known as the submission specialist, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Flair got the win after more shady dealings to set up a third match.

Judgement Day

AJ Styles vs. Edge (with Damian Priest)
PREDICTION: Edge’s recent transformation and attitude have lit a fire under the WWE Hall of Famer. After a win over AJ Styles at Wrestlemania, Edge began the start of his newest stable “Judgment Day.” With the addition of Damian Priest, Edge has directed further mind games towards Styles which are expected to continue at Wrestlemania Backlash. Styles should get the win but look for a third member of Judgement Day to appear and get the last laugh.
