A lot of Sister Wives fans really don’t love that Janelle Brown participates in a multi-level marketing company. For years, there have been claims that MLMs are problematic and aren’t thoroughly honest with their business practices. But you won’t hear Janelle say that — she is adamant that her business is legitimate and really helps people.
Plexus is a company that sells health and wellness products. Janelle tends to promote products that help her lose weight. She stands by the Plexus products, but not all her followers are buying her claims. In fact, one Reddit thread poked a bit of fun at the products. Keep reading to see what they said.
Janelle Brown is a big proponent of Plexus products
Janelle Brown isn’t interested in taking any days off while she’s on vacation in Portugal. She even made a promotional Plexus post while enjoying her holiday. Of course, she did win the vacation through Plexus in the first place, so some speculate that the company required her to make a promotional post.
“I’ve been seeing you guys complain about Janelle scamming her fans so I’m going to go to hell for this,” the original Reddit user wrote. The user, Planetlilmayo, then shared a photo they edited. It’s pretty obvious how they feel about Janelle’s Plexus endeavors.
Most of the Reddit users laughed at the photo, but a few others had a more serious approach to it.
“Not Just Janelle EVERY REALITY ‘STAR’ that takes advantage of their supporters.. EX: Lularoe,” wrote another Reddit user.
“I just don’t understand.. Why scam and lie to people that support you. Why not make your own small business with a really good product that we all love. I understand everybody has bills but there’s always other options especially when you’re a public figure,” wrote someone else.

I really like Janelle, but she isn’t a good example of the promised results. I think she does believe in it – she just cannot maintain the eating lifestyle required. They only have her as a promoter because of the show and would drop her like a hot potato if she were to leave..
