Has ‘Below Deck’ Season 10 Been Confirmed Or Axed?

Below Deck fans are curious to know when the original series will return. Since its inception in 2013, it has led to many popular spinoffs, including Below Deck Mediterranean, Below Deck Sailing Yacht, and Below Deck Down Under, which is the latest one. Each of these shows gives fans a glimpse into the world of yachting in different parts of the world.

The crew members live together, party together, and work together for six weeks. In the real yachting world, they would have to do this for much longer. This decreased amount of time makes it ideal for heightened drama. Unlike Bravo’s other shows, the cast members change with each passing season.

Has Bravo confirmed Below Deck Season 10?

Below Deck Season 9 included many new crew members. First officer Eddie Lucas and Chef Rachel Hargrove were the only familiar faces, along with Captain Lee Rosbach. However, he was faced with a health setback that caused him to sit out the first charter. Captain Sean Meagher stepped in as a temporary replacement for the first few episodes.

The Season 9 crew included the likes of Heather Chase, Jessica Albert, Fraser Olender, Jake Foulger, Wes O’Dell, and Rayna Lindsay. Jessica quit mid-season, while Rayna says she will never return to the show again. She has since changed careers, swapping out the yachting industry for the health and wellness industry. Rayna wants to share her sobriety and lifestyle journey with her Instagram followers.

It’s also safe to say that Heather won’t return as well. She was the center of the drama on Below Deck Season 9. She was caught saying the n-word on camera more than once. If Bravo were to invite her back for a second season, it would come with its share of backlash. Or, they could do a redemption season with her, which is common on the franchise.

Aside from that, fans can expect new crew members for the tenth season. There have also been rumors that Kate Chastain would reprise her role as a chief stew. At the time of this writing, however, Bravo has not confirmed Below Deck Season 10. Yet, there have been reports that the show started filming earlier this year.

What to expect from Below Deck Season 10

Captain Lee is said to return for Below Deck Season 10. However, the 72-year-old had another health setback. Captain Sandy Yawn was rumored to temporarily take his place on the show. He first opened up about his heart issues during Season 9.

According to Meaww, Below Deck could have a fall premiere date. Other sources also hint about a fall 2022 or early 2023 debut. Previous seasons of Below Deck have taken place during the October-November months, shortly after the Below Deck Mediterranean season finale. Thankfully, production for this series doesn’t take as much time as the others.
