Stassi Schroeder made arts and crafts this weekend as her former Vanderpump Rules co-stars attended the grand opening for Lisa Vanderpump’s new restaurant, Vanderpump à Paris, in Las Vegas. She skipped the event in favor of her new book.

Stassi took to her Instagram Stories to share an update with her fans. She revealed that she was in the mood to make some arts and crafts with her husband and their daughter, Hartford. Meanwhile, Katie Maloney, Lala Kent, Tom Schwartz, and her other friends attended the event.

Former VPR co-stars back on speaking terms

Lisa Vanderpump had a difficult relationship with her former employee. She admits it wasn’t easy all the time. Stassi Schroeder and Vanderpump wanted to move on from their past. The SUR owner told Us Weekly in August 2021 that they had a “friendly run-in.”

“I actually ran into her,” Vanderpump told Us Weekly. “I did say, ‘Yes, I called you back and I’ve called you and reached out to you.’ … She was very friendly.”

In June 2020, Stassi Schroeder was one of the cast members of Vanderpump Rules who was fired. She got the boot alongside co-stars Kristen Doute, Max Boyens, and Brett Caprioni after they received backlash for their former racially insensitive comments and actions. Vanderpump referred to the time when she claimed she didn’t hear back from Stassi after her firing.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 61-year-old said she reached out to Stassi Schroeder, but she never heard back from her. Thankfully, the two have been on speaking terms since. She called the firing “really, really sad,” and thinks her former employees “can learn from their mistakes.” It’s the reason why she likes to give them a second chance.

Stassi Schroeder hasn’t attended any Pump Rules outings since her firing. Some fans have wondered if Vanderpump snubbed her from her big day. Stassi stayed home with her husband Beau Clark for a crafting session. She was set on making PR boxes for her new book.

Her daughter, Hartford, even tried helping out. Both Stassi Schroeder and her husband were surrounded by craft boxes, cutouts, and glue sticks. Then she took to her Instagram feed to share a clip of the finished personalized boxes that she and her husband made for those who purchased copies of her book. The powder blue boxes include a note and copy of Stassi’s book.

“Crafting is not a hobby, it’s a lifestyle. And Versailles is not a destination, it’s an aesthetic,” Stassi Schroeder captioned her Instagram post.

The former Bravo star is known for her fear of “FOMO.” She doesn’t like missing out on anything. It’s likely that she had to skip out on this big event. Either Vanderpump cut Stassi from the guest list or maybe she had to prepare for her book’s upcoming release.
