Jenelle Evans’ husband David Eason took to Instagram to admit he was not “the best” person, but he was alright with that. David continued to explain in the caption of his post that the reason this was alright is that he was the best person in the world to his kids. And, that was all that really mattered to him.

“We have a bond that cannot be broken! I might not be the best person in the world but to her I am and that’s all that matters to me!” David Eason penned in the caption of a post he shared on Instagram today. The post featured a few photos of himself sitting on a lounge chair with his daughter Ensley sitting next to him.

In the first photo, David held out a bag of sunflower seeds. He watched as his daughter Ensley took the shell off a seed to enjoy it. The second photo featured David with a crooked and imperfect smile on his face as he continued to gaze lovingly at his beautiful daughter.

David Eason was met with mixed feedback in the comments

It is no secret that many Teen Mom fans don’t like David Eason. They believe Jenelle Evans made a mistake marrying him and they can’t believe she remains with him. Now, there was some love for David in the comments. Some fans agreed the views of that little girl and the other children in his house should matter more to him than what some random people online think or say.

Others, however, took issue with what David Eason said. They noted that being a bad person was never good for a child. These fans pointed out that one day his children were going to grow up to be just like him if he didn’t man up and do better. Here’s some of what fans said in the comments.

“Yea dude but they grow up and tend to see their parents for who they really are. Best practices is to actually be a good person,” one fan pointed out.

“It’s called being human. No one is perfect. We’re not meant to be. It’s about trying to be better than you were the day before,” a second added.

“Who says you’re not? You made mistakes, we all have. People keep talking about the same stuff over and over coz they got nothing else, you just keep moving forward. You are the apple of that little girls eye,” a third penned.

A fourth added: “But don’t you want to be the best for you . Owning your flaws is one thing building where you see them is strength.”
