Did Derick & Jill Dillard Use Duggar ‘Realtors’ To Sell House?
Derick and Jill Dillard are moving! As of Tuesday, April 19, their house already had a pending sale on it. Did they hire one of the Duggar realtors to help them sell it?
In case you missed the news, Jill and Derick announced that they are relocating because he accepted a job. This news comes shortly after Derick passed the bar exam. The couple isn’t spilling too many details about the job or where exactly they are moving.
If you’re a Duggar fan, you may recall that several members of the family are realtors. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, as well as some of their kids, have their realtor’s licenses.
This has fans and critics wondering whether Derick and Jill Dillard sold their home with the help of a relative.
Did Derick and Jill Dillard hire her family to sell the house?
Over on Reddit, Duggar snarkers are talking about Derick and Jill’s upcoming move. Someone notes, “I find it fascinating that with nearly all of her brothers holding a real estate license (and her mom and dad!), they chose to list with someone else.”
Another Duggar snarker adds, “Yeah after all the f*cked up sh*t her family has done with her money, I wouldn’t trust them to handle my real estate transactions either.”
After Derick and Jill Dillard left TLC’s Counting On, the pair had to seek legal help to recover the money they should have made for their hard work and the time they put into the show for years.
There is also speculation that Jim Bob and his family members aren’t actually practicing realtors. Someone adds, “It’s because they’re not actually practicing real estate agents. They’re just licensed so JimBob can sneakily shift properties around amongst them to dodge taxes and avoid involving industry professionals.”
So, this could explain why the Dillards chose to go through a different realtor to sell the house. Either way, it looks like things are working out for them.
Hopefully, the rest of the moving process goes smoothly and the family will find the perfect house for their soon-to-be family of five.
