‘American Pickers’ New Season Moving Forward Without Frank Fritz?

American Pickers’ new season is moving forward without Frank Fritz. Fans have been calling for the return of the original host. Many of them boycotted Season 23 with much success. It’s seen the biggest drop in just a few years.

Less than one million fans have been tuning in to the History Channel series. Mike Wolfe brought on his brother, Robbie Wolfe, as the new host. However, fans don’t like him. They think he’s too “boring” and has been wanting Frank to come back.

What’s next for the popular reality series? American Pickers star Mike Wolfe is talking about the upcoming season. He dropped a major hint about the show’s future amid the dismal ratings. The ratings have been on a steep decline ever since Frank Fritz got the pink slip.

On Monday, April 18, Mike took to Instagram to share a photo from inside his car. A camera was attached to the inside of the windshield. Mike dropped the not-so-subtle hint that American Pickers Season 24 was in production. Another season is in the works despite the low ratings.

American Pickers fans took to the comment section to share their thoughts. Some of them shared their reaction to his big hint. Despite the backlash, they’re happy to see that he’s back on the road, hunting for more antiques. Others made jokes about the obvious setup.

• “Totally normal windshield apparatus.”
• “Safe travels, have fun!!!!”

Interestingly enough, fans didn’t talk about the new season of American Pickers. They only talked about the camera setup. Others wanted to know about the upcoming locations. One fan asked, “Will you be in Lawrence,” to which Mike responded, “love that town!!!” Another hinted that there are “lots of honey holes in Kansas!”

American Pickers fans want Frank Fritz back

This was a different reaction to the American Pickers fans who have been demanding the return of Frank Fritz. Mike has been in a good mood about the show. He’s having a good time with his brother by his side. However, the same can’t be said about the viewers.

Ratings continue to plummet. They dropped to below one million viewers in January for the first time in years. Ratings have declined with each passing episode. American Pickers episodes featuring fan-favorite Frank boasted higher ratings. The History Channel announced his firing in July 2021.
