’90 Day Fiance’: Are Jibri and Miona Still Together?
Sunday night, viewers were introduced to a whole new 90 Day Fiance cast. Season 9 has some interesting people yet not everyone is all that impressed. One of the couples that have caused quite the commotion is Jibri Bell and his Serbian fiance, Miona. She was getting set to move in with him and his family but their lifestyles are quite different. Were they able to make it work?
Jibri Finds His 90 Day Fiance
While on tour with his band, Jibri met Miona. They were in Serbia when the young makeup artist and Instagram influencer caught his eye. It soon sparked a relationship and he ended up proposing to her. Unfortunately, getting her to America was not an easy or inexpensive feat. Therefore, Jibri relocated from California to his home in South Dakota. He is now living with his family who has some stricter rules about having Miona in the house. His mother wants her to dress more conservatively than what she has seen in photos. Yet Miona is not so thrilled about this arrangement.
She was all for the LA lifestyle but Jibri has reiterated that this will allow them to save money. It is a benefit in the long run. More so, she wants a lavish beach wedding. He is pushing for something sweet on the prairie. His mom is worried about their financial situation since his fiance likes to spend money. He has admitted she is great at making it and even better at spending it. Right now, they are at an impasse but she is still on her way to him. Can their love survive these hurdles, especially living in one home with his family?
Already Married?
The couple got engaged in 2019, according to their Instagrams and In Touch Weekly. However, it may have been a super quick engagement. In June 2020, he talked to a Serbian publication where he called Serbia his home and Miona his wife. “It’s always been my second home, a home away from home for me. My wife’s Serbian, and my life’s Serbian, and everything Serbian to me is right. Serbia is my second home and I want everyone to see and see how open and friendly it is here.” This would mean they were already married prior to even joining the show.
As for where they stand now, she is still posting on Instagram under Miona Bell. As of today, she shared videos of him in her story and seems quite happy. They are moving forward though no word if their marriage is legal or just spiritual. Yet if they have been legally married since 2020, should they really be on a show based on being engaged?
