Fans Call Kardashian Kids Easter Spread ‘OBSCENE’
The Kardashian family just made their comeback in their new Hulu series. Yet, it was not the show that is making waves. Rather fans cannot get over the family’s elaborate Easter celebration. As per usual, they went above and beyond for the holiday and it was next level over the top. Did they go too far?
A Kardashian Holiday Gone Too Far?
The Kardashians are not known for being subtle. Khloe just celebrated her daughter, True’s fourth birthday with a cat theme. Included were real kittens for the children to play with, face painting, and a braiding station. Prior to that, Valentine’s Day was nothing to sneeze at. Travis Barker got into the Kardashian spirit by gifting his fiancee Kourtney life-sized Mickey and Minnie statues doused in flowers. Kourt continued to make out like a bandit thanks to mama Kris. She gifted her eldest daughter a Louis Vuitton bag. Don’t forget their annual holiday party which is nothing short of spectacular.
This year’s Easter was nothing short of fabulous. Kris Jenner created a holiday fantasy for kids and adults of all ages. The tables were decorated with life-sized chocolate used as place settings. Each one was personalized and had a small wooden hammer next to it. More so, it appeared they could be cracked open per the hammer. Next to each table chair was also a personalized Easter basket for everyone, including Travis’s teenage kids with ex, Shanna Moakler. Finally, all of the younger kids received personalized gumball machines. Did Kris go a little too far?
Pushing The Limit
Doing things in moderation has never been something the Kardashians have been good at. This Easter has proven they really like to do it and do it up big. However, fans of the family felt it was too overdone and excessive. The festivities started on Saturday and carried through Easter Sunday. A Reddit thread was started solely based on the overindulgence given to the children. First off, it was the gumball machines for the littles, Dream, Chicago, True, and Stormi. Still awaiting Kylie’s new name for her baby boy formerly called Wolf. Secondly, people questioned where all the gifts go especially if the kids lose interest fast. Finally, the cost of the gumball machines alone was cause for frustration: “These gum ball machines alone would cover my rent for a whole year.”
One Redditor had this to add: “This is completely obscene.” While one common theme was that each child did receive the same amount of gifts, which was a lot, it was so excessive. Along with the candy and baskets, they also were gifted bicycles, as well. One person had to joke over all of it: “Ok NADA wrong w/ spoiling your babies BUT this is overkill! They’re literally going to expect bigger and better. Wow, I’m bitter jealous over kiddos.” In the end, Kris Jenner is the one who is throwing these lavish events and she has the means, so let her live.
