‘Sweet Home Sextuplets:’ Saylor Waldrop Hospitalized, In Wheelchair
The Sweet Home Sextuplet family spent another weekend in the ER after their oldest son Saylor was hospitalized following a foot injury. Fans of the family will recall that last weekend — on Courtney and Eric’s anniversary — Rayne Waldrop was rushed to the hospital after busting her chin open. At the time, Courtney told Instagram she was only a few children away from having taken every single one to the hospital. Furthermore, she admitted she thought it was a little comical that her sextuplets girls all required trips to the hospitals while the boys had not.
Sadly, the family spent another weekend at the ER. This time it was their oldest son Saylor who got injured. What happened to him? Keep reading for the details.
Saylor Waldrop Hospitalized: What Happened?
Courtney Waldrop shared a pretty shocking photo on Instagram last night. The photo featured her oldest son Saylor. He was sitting in a wheelchair. Fans could instantly tell by the colorful polka dot curtains that he had been hospitalized. What happened? Why was he in the hospital and in a wheelchair? Fortunately, Courtney Waldrop isn’t one to leave her fans hanging without all the details. She explained in a detailed caption what happened to her son. Courtney even kicked off her caption by jesting she really should just rent a room at the hospital.
According to her post, it is very possible Saylor Waldrop has broken his foot. She explained he was at basketball practice when he crashed down hard on top of his foot. He told his mother he heard his foot crack when it happened.
Courtney Waldrop tells fans the hospital did do an X-ray of his foot to see if it was broken. Sadly, his foot was far too swollen for the X-ray to capture the information they needed. Courtney tells her followers she is “praying hard” that he son did not actually break his foot.
What Happens Now?
She continued to tell followers doctors instructed them to continue to ice Saylor Waldrop’s injured foot to bring the swelling down. Courtney explained that her husband Eric is icing Saylor’s foot three times a day by dunking it in a five-gallon bucket filled with ice water. She admitted it hurts her just to see her son Saylor dunk his foot in the ice bucket.
Courtney Waldrop concluded her post by asking her fans for prayers. While she definitely wanted prayers his foot wasn’t actually broken, she also wanted prayers she didn’t end up at the hospital on Easter weekend with one of her children.
